Profit is more volatile than revenue, so companies that grow it at double-digit rates over one, three and five years are relatively scarce. This screen requires profit growth above 10% in each of those windows, along with a $300M market-cap floor. It suits investors interested in earnings compounding rather than one-time jumps. The compound rates are calculated from start and end points, so a company with a bad middle year can still pass, and buybacks are not reflected because the measure is total profit, not per share.
