Mid-cap companies, valued between $2 billion and $10 billion, sit between nimble small caps and slow-moving giants. Many have proven business models yet still have room to expand into new markets, which is why some investors give them a dedicated slice of a portfolio. This page lists every US-listed company in that band. The boundaries are conventions rather than rules, and different index providers use slightly different cutoffs, so a company near $2 billion or $10 billion may be called small or large elsewhere.
