Small Cap Value Stocks

$300M to $2B companies with a P/E between 0 and 15 and a price-to-book ratio under 1.5. This is a free, ready-made stock screen on DeltaScreener that filters 5,000+ NYSE & NASDAQ stocks in real time. Stocks appear here only because they match the filters in the search query below; the screen name is a label for those criteria, not a rating of any stock. Click any company to see its full financials, or edit the filters to make the screen your own.

Academic studies of the small-cap value premium usually sort on both size and book value, so this screen combines a $300M to $2B market cap with two valuation tests: P/E below 15 and price-to-book below 1.5. Requiring both an earnings multiple and an asset multiple reduces the number of names that look low on one measure only. The list tends to lean toward financials and asset-heavy industries. Book value can overstate worth when assets are stale or hard to liquidate, so the P/B figure deserves a closer look.
