Small Cap Low PE Stocks
Small caps ($300M to $2B market cap) that are profitable and trade below 15 times earnings. This is a free, ready-made stock screen on DeltaScreener that filters 5,000+ NYSE & NASDAQ stocks in real time. Stocks appear here only because they match the filters in the search query below; the screen name is a label for those criteria, not a rating of any stock. Click any company to see its full financials, or edit the filters to make the screen your own.
Small companies get less analyst coverage, which is one reason some investors look for low earnings multiples there first. This screen limits the universe to market caps between $300 million and $2 billion, requires positive trailing earnings, and caps the P/E at 15. The resulting list mixes regional banks, industrial suppliers, retailers and energy firms. Small-cap earnings tend to be more volatile than large-cap earnings, and trading volume can be thin, so the P/E can move sharply from one year to the next.
